Story to Movie, from Script to Rough Cut

This is the story to movie path in TikFilmer. Bring a finished story or one sentence. The workflow extracts a cast, plans shots, renders clips and hands you a rough cut. The homepage is aimed at the broader idea of an AI film maker. This page stays on the path that starts from words.

How a story to movie project runs

Four waits, in order. Each stage hands structured data to the next so a long story can still cut together.

  1. 01

    Words in, story out

Paste prose, a screenplay or an outline, or generate from one sentence. The default generated length is about 1.5 minutes unless you ask for another. Pasted text is used as written.

  2. 02

A library of characters, places and props

The step that protects continuity is the asset pass. Characters, locations and props are listed, each with a reference prompt. You can edit them, then generate reference images. Those images are what later shots reuse, so a face or a room does not drift just because the clip was rendered on its own.

  3. 03

A director plan you can edit

The Director Agent writes shot size, camera movement and timing. Re-plan one segment without redoing the film. Go straight to video, or make a GPT-Image still first. A separate Storyboard Generator can board outside the full pass.

  4. 04

    Clips, then a rough cut

Each segment renders with the video model you chose, guided by the references and the continuity notes. The online timeline trims and stitches. Export one MP4, every clip, or a Premiere Pro project. The timeline also has transitions, subtitle effects, stickers and AI video edit, and export can go up to 4K. Paid plans add the upscaler and the video editor.

What people bring to a story to movie project

The input box does not require a special file format. These are the shapes the homepage already describes.

One sentence

One sentence

A genre, a person and a problem can generate the story. You still get an asset pass and a shot plan, not one loose clip.

A script you already wrote

A script you already wrote

Paste the screenplay or the outline. Scene headings and dialogue are accepted. The extract step finds the characters, locations and props in that text and proposes how to split it into scenes.

A short you want in two looks

A short you want in two looks

The same story can be boarded in more than one style. A published TikFilmer note shows one wuxia sword fight shot as a blood feud and as a lost love. Style belongs in the story or the shot idea, and the prompts follow it.

What the story to movie workflow includes

Features named in the product, not a wishlist.

Continuity notes between clips

Reference images hold the look. The Director Agent also writes continuity notes from one segment to the next, including when a cut should carry the previous frame.

A conversational director

Aaron is the chat director in the workspace. Before a paid step, the cost is shown, so no step spends credits in the dark.

20+ models, on every plan

Free and paid plans can use the full pricing list of LLMs, image models and video models, including Seedance, Kling, Wan, MiniMax, GPT-Image and Midjourney.

Styles you can name

Realistic, anime, 3D, fantasy and ink wash are built in. A custom style is a description in the story or the shot idea. There is also a Seedance option to turn a real face into line art when a realistic reference would be rejected.

Local project data

Creative data stays in the browser. Account and credits sit in the cloud. Export a ZIP if you want a backup or a handoff. There are no live multi-user seats.

Commercial use included

You own the movies, including on Free, for personal creation, commercial promotion and monetization. The FAQ does not split ownership by plan.

From the first sentence to the last shot

Words become a structured story, then a library, then a shot plan, then clips, then one timeline. You can board the shots before spending video credits. The rough-cut viewer is on every plan, including Free. A homepage showcase example is about 350 credits for one minute at 480p, about 700 for two minutes, and about 500 to reach 1080p. The same pipeline, shortened, is a trailer. This page stays on the full story to movie pass.

Plans, credits and where the files live

Free is $0 with 350 credits, issued once as add-on credits, and it includes every model, both workflows, assets, stills, the storyboard generator and the rough-cut viewer. Basic is $9.9/month (1,100 credits), Starter $29 (3,300), Pro $79 (9,000, Most popular), Studio $239 (27,000). Yearly: $105.50, $309, $842, $2,549, up to 22% off. Pay-as-you-go is $0.01 a credit, minimum 100, and those credits do not expire. Paid plans add the upscaler and the video editor. Pro has priority support. Studio has top-tier support. Cancel via [email protected]. Stripe and PayPal. Web only, desktop and mobile browsers, no native app. The interface has 11 languages.

Ownership and privacy

You own the movies you make, for personal work, commercial promotion and monetization. The FAQ does not limit that to a paid plan. Creative project data stays in the browser. The cloud holds the account and the credits. A ZIP export is the backup and the handoff. That is a file, not a live session with seats.

FAQ

How do I go from story to movie with AI?↓

Click Use My Story and paste the story, or type an idea, pick an AI scheme and click Generate. TikFilmer extracts assets, plans shots, renders clips and assembles a rough cut you can export.

Can the story be a screenplay or a single sentence?↓

Yes. Prose, screenplays, outlines and one sentence are all accepted. The format is recognised, then characters, locations and props are extracted.

How long can it be?↓

Generated stories default to about 1.5 minutes. Ask for another length in the input, for example a 3-minute story. Your own long text is split into segments and joined in the rough cut.

Will characters look the same in every shot?↓

Each character, location and prop gets a reference image reused across shots. The Director Agent adds continuity notes between segments.

What do I leave with?↓

An MP4, the separate clips and raw assets, or a Premiere Pro project. You own the film, including for commercial use, on Free and on paid plans.

Is my story uploaded for storage?↓

Creative project data stays in your browser. Account and credit data are in the cloud. You can export a ZIP at any time. There is no live multi-user editing.
